911爆料网鈥檚 Gray Gallery, located in Brenner Library, is hosting the Debra K. Scoggin-Myers: Rural Retrospective Art Exhibition.
The exhibit features Scoggin-Myers artwork in pastels, mixed media, watercolor and acrylic paints. Her work earned Best of Show at the 30th Anniversary Mary S. Oakley & Lee Lindsay Area Artist Showcase in Quincy.
鈥淭his body of artwork was produced over the past few years and reflects my rural roots and love of the beautiful Missouri countryside,鈥� said Scoggin-Myers. 鈥淔or me, painting should have soul, emotion, energy, uniqueness, something to say in a positive, humorous or thought-provoking way.鈥�
The Debra K. Scoggin-Myers: Rural Retrospective Art Exhibition runs through March 21 and is free and open to the public.
